CARL HAMPTON GOOD
1932 - 2015


Carl Hampton Good was born on September 2, 1932, in Prague, and departed this life on Saturday October 10, 2015, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, at the age of 83.
Carl, the son of Loyd and Fay Cox Good, was a resident of Wagoner.
He married Mary Francis Fennel on August 19, 1952, he later married Helen DeLaughter on December 20, 1986.
Carl graduated from Prague High School with the class of 1950. He played football while at Prague, but he was particularly proud of reaching the status of American Farmer in FFA which he was awarded in October of 1952 in Kansas City.
Carl moved several times, but he always found a church home to which he was very faithful.
He proudly served in the US Army in the Korean War era, he was stationed at Beale Air Force Base in Yuba City California during his service.
Carl's parents, wife, a sister, two sons and three grandchildren preceded him in death.
Survivors include his children, Dr. David Good, Mary Anna Stricklin and Bonnie Friend, Dr. Zane DeLaughter, Joseph DeLaughter, Traci DeLaughter Lacek, Randy DeLaughter, Enoch Good, Joel Good and Justin Good, twenty four grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, brothers, Marvin Good and Jack Good, sister, Christeen Mulanax and many other friends and family.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Charlie Clem officiating.
Interment will follow at Gable Cemetery.
Services under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Prague.
