SHELTON RAY GOFF
1924 - 2013


Shelton Ray Goff, Cushing resident, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 in Tulsa at the age of 69 years.
The son of the late Shelton Goff and Mary Katherine Glover Goff, Ray was born on April 8, 1944 in Decherd, Tennessee and was raised in Huntland, Tennessee.
He was united in marriage to Doris Hodges on December 25, 1974 in Norwalk, California; the couple moved to Cushing in 1995. Doris preceded him in death on December 13, 1999.
Ray was a member of the VFW in Perkins. He enjoyed football, camping, throwing horseshoes and shooting pool.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Hutchinson and her husband, Arthur, of Cushing; and Lorie Davidson of Bellflower, California; two sons, Frank Nicklas of Agra; and Randy Davidson of Parkland; seven siblings, Billy J. Goff of Sherwood, Tennessee; Jeanette Bridges of Lowell, Indiana; Jean Beavers of Harvey, Illinois; Alfred “Spud” Goff of Auburn, Indiana; Brenda Stevens of Winchester, Tennessee; Kay Clark of Huntland, Tennessee; and Earlene Judge of Whitehouse, Tennessee; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife, Ray was preceded in death by one son, Carl Goff and three siblings, Camille Boren, Elbert “Buddy” Goff and Docia Bishop.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Flynn Cemetery.
