MARY A. GIVENS OBITUARY

MARY A. GIVENS
1857 - 1926


Mary A. Ingram was born in Ohio October 1, 1857 and departed this life October 31, 1926, at the age of 69 years and 1 month.
She was united in marriage to E. Givens February 7, 1883. To this union were born six children; five boys and one girl.
Three boys preceded her to the great beyond. Those living are her sons, Lawrence Givens, Guy Givens and her daughter, Myrtle Wall.
She was a lovable companion and loved and respected by all of her friends and neighbors.
She was united with the Methodist church in her early girlhood and remained true to her faith.
She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, two sons and a daughter, eleven grandchildren, three sisters and two brothers and a host of other friends and neighbors.
Services were conducted from the M. E. Church at Kendrick, Wednesday, November 3, at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. H. E. Inman.
Interment in the Black Cemetery.
