ROBERT LEE GILMAN

Robert Lee Gilman was born August 15, 1949 in Stroud, Oklahoma to Claude and Geraldine (Anderson) Gilman. He departed this life at his home in Stroud on January 28, 2017 at the age of 67 years.

Robert was a resident of Stroud. Robert went to Nursing School and worked for a auditing company out of Texas for several years. He returned to Stroud and went to work for Farm Fresh in Chandler. Robert was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Stroud and loved to be out garden and planting flowers. Robert and his dog, Susie love to travel and if you seen one you would see the other. Robert was a true hearted guy that loved his family and everyone around him. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Noel, brother in law, Grover Phillips, nephews, nieces and great nephews.

Survivors include, brother Clyde Gilman and wife Ann of Purcell, Oklahoma, Sisters, Patricia (Pat) Phillips of Noble, Oklahoma and Mary Carpenter & husband Jim of Prague, Oklahoma, several nephews and nieces and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Stroud, on Saturday February 11, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor Jeromye Jackson officiating. Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services in Stroud.
