SOCORRO LARIOS GILKISON
1946 - 2014


Socorro Larios Gilkison was born June 27, 1946 in San Louise, Rio Colorado, Senora, Mexico to Telesforo Mexicano Larios and Pilar Becerra.
She passed away May 30, 2014 in Chandler, Oklahoma at the age of 67.
Socorro moved from Mexico to the United States in 1970 and married James Emery Gilkison.
She took care of her family and loved gardening.
Socorro was preceded in death by her parents Telesforo and Pilar; brother, Martin; and sister, Adela Larios.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, James Gilkison of the home; son, Jesse Medina of Milwaukee; sisters, Chata Larios of Yuma, Arizona, Blas Larios of Mexico; brother, Chato Larios of Mexico; and a host of other family and friends.
A graveside funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the New Zion Cemetery in Chandler.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
