DONALD RAY GIBLET
1947 - 2010


Donald Ray Giblet resided in Henryetta, Oklahoma and passed away on June 22, 2010 at his home at the age of 64. Donald was born February 12, 1946 in Rocky, Oklahoma to Samuel Myrl and Olive Etsell Giblet.
He married Freda on February 15, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jeanie McCustion.
Donald was self-employed in the lawn care business and also spent many years in the oilfield business.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Church of the Firstborn.
He is survived by his wife, Freda of the home; son and daughter in law, Matthew and Kelly Giblet of Woodward, Oklahoma; daughter and son in law, Jeanne and Ron Jackson of Rocky, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren, Joe Jackson, Tristan Jackson, Ashley Jackson, Missouri Rose Jackson, Matt and Cody Giblet, Brice Giblet, Gracie Giblet, Emily Johnson, Stormy Eakins, Precious Eakins, Dason Eakins, Dawson Eakins, Christian Eakins, Brandon Griffith and Christopher Heibeit. four step children, Lewis Eakins, Julious Lynn Griffith, Elisabeth Easter and Husband Darwin, Sherry Smith and husband Mike; brothers, Vance Giblet and wife Rita of Rocky, Oklahoma; Lawrence Giblet and wife, Pam of Green Briar, Arkansas; Michael Giblet and wife, Darla of Clinton, Oklahoma and Jeff Giblet and wife Bonnie of Cordell, Oklahoma; and one sister, Becky Tittle and husband, Anthony of Cordell, Oklahoma as well as other relatives and many friends.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2010 at the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn located on the Locust Rd. with Glenn Thompson, Reggie Palmer and Ron Jackson officiating.
Interment will be 3:30 p.m., Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Parkland Cemetery in Parkland, Oklahoma under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home in Henryetta.
