ANNA LOIS GEORGE
1927 - 2016


Anna Lois Mullen George was born September 9, 1927 in Lincoln County, Oklahoma to Proctor and Alma Wertman Mullen.
Anna was the 5th of 9 children.
She passed away in Tulsa on February 17, 2016 at 88 years of age.
When Anna was in someone’s life, she always left them a better person than she found them.
Anna loved her family and her church where she served for many years. Her latest passion was volunteering for the thrift store in Chandler where she enjoyed serving the surrounding community.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Robert Allen George; brother Bill Mullen; sisters, Ruby Key, Ruth Hurst and Carolyn Mullen.
Survivors include, her children, Betty and her husband Rip Dawley of Chandler, Letha and her husband Terrell Ramsey of Sapulpa; four grandchildren, J. R. Ratliff, Debbie Ratliff, Angela Ward and Terra Morrow; five great-grand grandchildren Logan Morrow, Jessa Jae Morrow, Brady Morrow, Parker Ward and Casen Ward; brothers, Glen Mullen and his wife Eunice, Proctor Mullen Jr., Charles Mullen and his wife Mable; sister, Joy Wilson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Chandler Friends Church with a private family interment prior to the service, at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
Donations in Anna’s honor can be made to the Evangelical Friends Mission or Camp Quaker Haven c/o Friends Church 215 N Blaine Ave, Chandler Oklahoma 74834.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
