IMO FULKERSON
1914 - 2006


Imo Rainwater Fulkerson, a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma, was born in Pryor, Oklahoma, on March 21, 1914, and departed this life in Stroud, Oklahoma on Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at the age of 91 years.
Imo was the daughter of Gideon Harvard and Nancy Jane Steen Rainwater.
Imo was a resident of Stroud most of her life and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Prairie View Club in Stroud.
Imo married Mervin Eugene Fulkerson in Drumright, Oklahoma on December 23, 1939. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1982.
Her parents, one grandson, three brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Joe Fulkerson and wife Doneva of Crescent, Oklahoma, one daughter, Opal Ruth Ham and husband Gene of Hennessey, Oklahoma, one brother, Delbert Rainwater of Stroud, Oklahoma, one sister, Mabel McFarland of Stroud, Oklahoma, eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Burl Mackey officiating.
Burial will be in the Stroud Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
