JOE ALLEN FRAZIER JR.
1957 - 2012


Joe Allen Frazier Jr. was born June 18, 1957, in Shawnee and departed this life Wednesday, February 22, 2012, in Shawnee at the age of 54.
Joe, the son of Joe Allen Frazier Sr., was a resident of Meeker most of his life.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1975 to 1977.
He worked the majority of his life doing farm and ranch work. He also worked as a heavy equipment operator.
Joe met Traci Summerall in 1993 and they began their life together.
Everything Joe did was for his daughters and he loved telling them stories.
He loved trucks and tractors. When he got his new tractor a few years ago just in time for a big snow, he cleared driveways for neighbor ladies who then paid him in cookies!
Joe also enjoyed his horses, fishing and hunting. He lived life to the fullest and never acted his age.
His father preceded him in death.
Survivors include companion and mother of his children, Traci Summerall of the home; daughters, Jessica and Kaitlin Frazier of the home; sisters and brother-in-law, Beth A. and Jerry Hooper of Jacktown; and Patsy K. Frazier of Meeker; niece, Ann M. Hooper Shatto of Jacktown; and nephews, Randal Scott Freeze of Meeker and Jon Hooper of Jacktown.
A memorial graveside service with military honors will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 2, at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
A reception will follow the service at the Masonic Lodge in Meeker.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
