RAYMOND RICHARD FLOYD
1938 - 2007


Raymond Richard Floyd, age 68, of Cushing died on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at his home in Cushing.
Raymond was born on April 9, 1938 in Denver, Colorado to Forrest and Rela Floyd, eventually making his home in Cushing at the age of 13.
He joined the U. S. Army in 1960 serving until 1963 spending part of that time in Germany.
On June 26, 1964 he was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Blair. Together they had one son, Brian.
Raymond spent most of his years traveling from coast to coast as a truck driver for Arrow Trucking.
He is survived by his son, Brian Floyd and wife, Dena of Cushing; two step-sons, Ron Neal and wife, Becky of Idabel, Oklahoma; and Bill Neal of Yale, Oklahoma; sister, Alberta Houston and husband, Richard of Drumright, Oklahoma; three brothers, Tim Floyd and wife, Janie; Bernard Floyd and wife, Melinda; Bennie Floyd and wife, Elloese, all of Cushing; two grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Rela Floyd; wife, Barbara Ann Floyd; five sisters, Almonia Hubbard, Alene Taylor, Alta Ruth Blackburn, Edna Irene Floyd and Althea Floyd; five brothers, Rodgers Floyd, Allen Floyd, Alvie Floyd, Terry Floyd and Marvin Floyd.
Memorials may be made to the Judith Karman Hospice, P.O. Box 818, Stillwater, OK 74076.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 16, 2007 at the Flynn Cemetery, Cushing. Reverend Kevin Clouse will officiate.
