WANDA LOUISE FLETCHER
1930 - 2013


Wanda Louise Sullivan Fletcher was born on April 3, 1930 in Augusta, Arkansas to Thomas Kenneth and Mildred "Elza" Norvell Sullivan. She passed away on February 12, 2013 in Prague, Oklahoma at the age of 82.
Wanda graduated high school from Augusta High School and on May 7, 1951 in a double wedding ceremony with her sister Vina Denker, she married James M. Fletcher, Jr. in Bald Knob, Arkansas.
One of her favorite things to do was cook for others and what an excellent cook she was. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and spent many hours doing that.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bald Knob and in Prague. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for many years and loved working in her community.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James, great-grandson, Hunter Fletcher, son-in-law, Larry B. Johnson, sister, Marilyn Morton and brother, Billy Sullivan.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Kay Fletcher of Gravette, Arkansas, Kenneth and Vicki Fletcher of Prague, Oklahoma, daughter, Tina Johnson of Prague, Oklahoma, sister, Vina Denker of Prague, Oklahoma, brothers-in-law, Parlon Morton III of Lake Jackson Texas and Wesley Rooks of Little Rock, Arkansas, sisters-in-law, Reva Fletcher and Carolyn Fletcher of Little Rock, Arkansas, niece, Arlene Hendrix and her husband George, nine grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren, and many more family and special friends.
A funeral service will held Friday, February 15, at 11:00 a.m. at the Parks Brothers Funeral Service Chapel in Prague Oklahoma with Pastor Susan Payne officiating.
She will then travel to Bald Knob, Arkansas where the family will be available from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, at the First Christian Church in Bald Knob, for viewing and visitation.
Wanda will then be taken to the Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob for a graveside service which will be officiated by Pastor Ralph Biram Jr.
