JANET LYNN FERNANDEZ
1972 - 2016


Janet Lynn Herbeck Fernandez was born May 17, 1972 in Galveston, Texas to Paul and Chicketa Niemczyk Herbeck. She passed away October 31, 2016 in Edmond at the age of 44.
Janet grew up in Wellston where she graduated from high school in 1990. She worked at McDonalds and Subway in Bev’s for many years. She enjoyed flower gardening and crochet.
She is preceded in death by her father, Paul Herbeck and step-father, Roger Russell.
Survivors include her mother, Chicketa Russell of Wellston; children, Carl Christy of Wellston, Kevin Fernadez of Nevada and Katelynn Russell of Wellston; sisters, Frances Newsome and her husband Pete of Wellston and Channon Towers of Oklahoma City along with other family and friends.
The family will hold a private gathering at the later date to honor Janet’s life.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
