SHANAN TERESA FEARS
1965 - 2014


Shanan Teresa Fears was born April 24, 1965 in Oxnard, California to L. H. and Barbara Townsley Fears. She passed away at home October 9, 2014 at the age of 49.
Shanan proudly served her country in the United States Navy where she received an honorable discharge for medical reasons. She graduated from Southern Technical College. She lived in Liberal, Kansas and was a grant writer for a non-profit organization.
Shanan had a big heart and wonderful sense of humor both of which will be missed by her family and friends.
Shanan is survived by her lifetime companion, Kim Evans of the home; mother, Barbara Fears of the home; sister, Leah and her husband Robert Bouge of Alexander, Arkansas; brother, John Fears of Alexander, Arkansas; and other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel in Wellston.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
