ELVEN ACEY FANNING SR.
1916 - 2001


Elven Acey Fanning Sr. died Monday at the Meeker Nursing Center.
He was born May 16, 1916 in Star to Lath and Sallie Rockholt Fanning.
He was a resident of Lincoln county and the Prague area since moving from Sacramento, California in 1988.
He was a welder.
Elven and Doris Evelyn Baker were married August 7, 1937 in Donnely, Idaho.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Alfred Fanning and Elba Fanning.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Fanning, Prague; three sons, Edgar Fanning, Rio Linda, California; Elven Fanning Jr., Pollock Pines, California; and Glenn Fanning, Prague; one daughter, Geraldine Burch, Rio Vista, California; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Prague Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home.
