GEORGIA VELMA EVANS
1916 - 2013


Georgia Velma Ralstin Evans was born May 10, 1916 in Wellston, Oklahoma to William Edward Ralstin and Neta Allen Gallaher.
She passed away November 4, 2013 in Chandler, Oklahoma at the age of 97.
She worked for many years as a cook in the cafeteria at Central State College in Edmond. When she left the college she went home to take care of her great-grandchildren which was a highlight of her life.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winford Evans; son, Leroy Evans and sisters, Omega, Inella and Wilma Jean.
She is survived by her son, Charles Evans of Oklahoma City; daughter-in-law, Louise Mauldin of Wellston; and many other family members and friends.
A graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Wellston Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
