CHRISTOPHER LYNN ELLISON
1973 - 2012


Christopher "Chris" Lynn Ellison was born on September 16, 1973, in Shawnee Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday November 13, 2012, at his home in Shawnee Oklahoma, at the age of 39.
Chris, the son of Charles and Virginia Holland Ellison, was a resident of Shawnee.
He married Glenda Stowe on January 17, 2006 in Shawnee.
Chris was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, but his other love was baseball.
He went to Seminole Junior College with a scholarship to play for their highly successful baseball team.
In addition to Chris' father he had a special companion in his step-father, Fred Henderson.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Angie and his grandparents.
Survivors include his wife of 6 years, Glenda Ellison of the home, his son, Cameron Ellison of Perkins, step-daughters and step-son, Courtney Miller of Oklahoma City, Terry Jones and husband J. D. of Ada, Casey Miller and husband Ray Brooks of Ada and Justin Miller and wife Jordana of Ada, brothers, Charles Ellison Jr. of Shawnee and Wayne Holland of Chandler, sisters, Chaiquita Ellison of Tulsa and Sheila Ellison of Oklahoma City, a special uncle, auntie and cousin Lawrence and Dorothea Burdine of Prague and Gary Ellison of Washington D.C., and his three beloved dogs, Knocks, Bunny and Granny, along with a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Reverend Russell Holland of Chandler and Minister Patricia Braggs of Oklahoma City officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Prague, Oklahoma.
