SHARON WILMA EDMONSON
1947 - 2011


Sharon Wilma Guinn Edmonson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, was born April 26, 1947, in Shawnee and died Thursday, December 8, 2011, in Shawnee, at the age of 64 years.
She was the daughter of Clifford Paul "Hap" and Emma Mae Curtis Guinn.
She married Freddie Edmonson on June 25, 1965, in Shawnee.
She graduated from Shawnee High School and worked as a secretary at North Rock Creek Schools for 23 years.
She was a member of Aydelotte Baptist Church, Shawnee.
Preceding her in death were her mother, her stepmother, Willa Jones Guinn; and one grandchild.
Survivors include her husband, Freddie Edmonson of the home; her father "Hap" Guinn of Shawnee; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Jody Edmonson and Jeff and Michelle Edmonson, all of Shawnee; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shari and Wayne Sligar of Shawnee and Wendi and Jason Campbell of Meeker; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carma and Don Morris of Shawnee and Kathy and Harlynn Fletcher of Meeker; ten grandchildren and their spouses; her stepbrother, Benny Jones and his wife, Christy, of Prague; and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Aydelotte Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Gore officiating.
Burial followed at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
