NANCY M. DUFFY
1907 - 1986


Services for Mrs. Nancy M. Baumgarten Duffy of Cushing will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Cushing General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn. Elders Port Carmichael and Bud Fisher will officiate.
Mrs. Duffy died Sunday, August 31, 1986, at the age of 79 years, at her Oak Street residence.
The daughter of Fred and Ida Camp Baumgarten, she was born January 31, 1907 at San Antonio, Texas. She was living in the San Antonio area when she and Lumon Lee Duffy were married June 30, 1929. They continued to live in San Antonio until 1941, when they moved to the Cushing area.
She was a homemaker and a member of the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.
Her husband preceded her in death July 13, 1972. Her parents also have predeceased her.
Survivors include a son, Carl Allen Duffy of Shamrock; two daughters, Mrs. William {Ida Alice} Snell of Drumright, and Mrs. Beverly Jean Pruitt of Cushing; fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a brother, Victor Baumgarten of Kingsland, Texas.
Pallbearers will be R. C. Hood, Don Huckabay, Ron Huckabay, Jerry Dow Pruitt, Charles Simonson and Wayne Tibbett.
Interment will be in Parkland Cemetery. Reavis Funeral Home of Stillwater is in charge of arrangements.
