LINDA KAY DRURY
1941 - 2015


Linda Kay Friend Drury was born on December 18, 1941, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, May 28, 2015, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 73.
Linda, the daughter of Raymond T. Friend and Velma Kidd Friend Presley, was a resident of Prague.
She graduated from Prague High School with the class of 1959.
She married Earl Drury on April 2, 1960.
Linda and Earl remained married until his passing in January of 2007.
She enjoyed golf, crochet and sewing.
She was a member of the Shawnee Elks Lodge.
Linda's husband, parents, and one brother, Vallis Friend preceded her in death.
Linda is survived by hers sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Teresa Drury of Prague and Kenny and Robin Drury of Prague; daughter, Tammy Mayfield of Prague; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jesse and Lorene Friend of Shawnee and Pete and Wanda Friend of Prague; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
IServices are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Prague.
