BOB BURKE DOOTY
1925 - 2003


Bob Burke Dooty, 77, of Meeker Oklahoma, died February 4, 2003, at Midwest City.
He was born May 6, 1925, in Melvern, Kansas, and was a resident of Meeker for 33 years and previously lived in Sallisaw.
He was a bus driver for Red Carpet bus lines for 12 years and also worked for Time DC for 22 years. In his driving career, he drove more than 5 million miles.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, a member of the Meeker Assembly of God Church, the Masonic Lodge and the Teamsters Union.
Services were held at 3:30 p.m. today at the Meeker Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Charles Pearcy officiating.
Burial followed at the New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma.
Arrangements under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Prague.
