LESLIE WAYNE DECKER
1951 - 1998


Shawnee native Leslie "Les" Wayne Decker died Thursday in Oklahoma City. He was 47.
He was born October 22, 1951, in Shawnee to Charles Decker and Wanda L. Bishop.
Les was a graduate of Highland High School, Sacramento, California, and had lived in the Meeker area most of his life.
He served in the Vietnam War and received the Bronze Star.
Survivors include his son, Mike Decker, Meeker; his parents, Charles and Pat Decker, Meeker; and Richard and Wanda Lee, Shawnee; brothers, Gene Lee and Keith Lee, both of Shawnee; Jorge Rodriguez, Bethel; Bacilio Rodriguez, Chandler; Mike Rodriguez, Sparks; sister, Maria Woodberry, Mary Ester, Florida; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Bonnie Decker and Willard and Pearl Bishop.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at New Hope Cemetery, Meeker, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Chandler, with Bro. Charles Pearcy officiating.
