CHESTEEN DAWKINS
1945 - 2011


Chesteen "Tina" Dawkins was born September 5, 1945, in Cushing, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 65.
Tina, the daughter of Chester Herring and Zella Delores Goforth Ward, was a resident of Shawnee.
She married Doyle Dawkins on February 29, 1964 in Fort Polk, Louisiana. Doyle preceded Tina in death on May 16, 1993.
She was a homemaker.
Her parents and one brother also preceded Chesteen in death.
Survivors include daughters, Angie Dawkins of Meeker; Lori Dawkins of Prague; brothers, Micky Ward of Shawnee; Jerry Ward of Shawnee; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and significant other, Randy McEroy of Shawnee.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker with the Rev. Bill Matthews officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
