PEARL ETHEL DAVIS
1925 - 2015


Pearl Ethel Stealey Davis was born on August 3, 1925, in Beggs, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, October 1, 2015, in Drumright, Oklahoma, at the age of 90.
Pearl, the daughter of John W. and Laura Ella Foreman Stealey, was a resident of Yale, and a long time resident of Prague.
She married Owen Davis on December 22, 1945, in Philadelphia.
She was the co-owner of the Prague Bakery for over 30 years.
Pearl was a member of the Assembly of God Church and served as a church pianist for over 70 years. She enjoyed shopping, sewing, crossword puzzles and reading, but was best known for her outstanding piano ministry.
Her parents, two brothers, Paul Stealey and Raymond Seal and three sisters, Sybil Soule, Myrtle “Midge” Hewitt and Elsie Virginia Stealey preceded Pearl in death.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Owen Davis of Yale; son, Robert Owen Davis II and his wife, Glennyce of Yale, and their children, Robert Owen, III, and his wife, Birdell, Michael Gene Davis, and his wife Jessica, Sandra K. Clark, and two stepchildren, daughter, Becky Woodard and her husband, Darrell, of Katy, Texas, and their children, Shawna Marshall, Michelle Williams, and her husband, Don, and four stepchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and other numerous family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Prague with Rev Kevin Wehrli and Rev. Randall Newby officiating.
Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. at Beggs City Cemetery.
