BARBARA LEA DAVIS
1935 - 2004


Barbara Lea Bell Mobley Davis, 69, Perkins, Oklahoma resident, died November 10, 2004 at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Barbara was born and raised on her parents', Edgar Bell and Odessa Rice Bell, farm southwest of Perkins.
She married Billy Gene Mobley in 1952 and they had four children. The family moved to Perkins where they lived until Gene's death in 1972. She married Raymond Davis in 1976 in Perkins.
She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Perkins where she taught Sunday School and supervised the youth at Falls Creek. She loved morning coffee with her friends and neighbors. She loved company, always offering a cheerful smile, a hot meal, homemade cookies or apple pie.
The light of her life was the special moments she spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Billy Gene Mobley; her eldest son, Bobby Gene Mobley; her parents; brothers, Billy Joe Bell, Johnnie Lee Bell, Edgar DeWayne Bell and Baby Bell.
She is survived by husband, Raymond Davis; three children, Deborah McCutchen and husband, Chris of Perkins; Larry Don Mobley of Norman, Oklahoma; Micheal Dean Mobley of Perkins; three step children, Rodger Davis and wife, Linda of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Sharon Kindell and husband, Gary of Stillwater; and Ladona Taylor and husband, Kenneth; twenty three grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and three siblings, Preston Bell and wife, Naomi of Carney, Oklahoma; Imogene Simpson of Dumas, Texas; Kathelene Johnson and husband, Robert of Bixby, Oklahoma; and a wide host of family and friends.
Services November 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home, Perkins Chapel, with Pastor Ted Gibson officiating.
Interment at Carney Cemetery.
