ANITA KAY DAVIS
1962 - 2016


Anita Kay Want Davis was born May 12, 1962 in Chandler to Melvin Walter Want and Beulah Mae Stingley. She passed away January 10, 2016 in Wellston at the age of 53.
Anita grew up in Wellston and graduated from Wellston High School in 1980.
She was a member of the Assembly of God Church of Wellston and the Eastern Star.
Anita was a loving wife and mother and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenny Want.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, John Patrick Davis; daughters, Stacy Russell and Tammy Davis; four grandchildren, Coby, Carson, Cason and Caden “Gomez”; siblings, Twila McLain, Dorothy Howell and Jeffrey Want all of Wellston; as well as other family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Assembly of God Church in Wellston with interment following in the Wellston Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
