1935 - 2006


Services for Agatha Gereline Tolley Davis, 71, of Ripley, who passed away Saturday, December 2, 2006, will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the Oakdale Cemetery north of Agra.
Agatha was born November 28, 1935 in Denison, Texas to Alex and Minnie Tolley.
She married Thomas Whitten Davis, Jr. October 4, 1952 in Durant, Oklahoma. They moved to Ripley, Oklahoma in 1985 from Savannah, Georgia.
Agatha enjoyed spending time with her family especially her great-grandchildren and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Minnie Tolley; her son Jim Davis; and her daughter, Sherron Ratcliffe.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Thomas Davis, Jr. of Ripley; son, Thomas Davis, Jr. II and his wife Lori of Everett, Washington; granddaughters, Brandy Huston and her husband Chase of Ripley; Melinda Dunbar and Kevin Evans of Ripley; Melissa Strange and her husband Nick of Toledo, Ohio; and Betsey Tate and her husband Dan of Everett, Washington; grandsons, Timothy Dunbar and Janie Thurman of Stillwater and Thomas Davis, Jr. III and his wife Tami of Everett, Washington; ten great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Ethan, Isaac, Lyric, Alex, Giana, Lucas, Cayden, Trey, and Rita; two sisters, two brothers, and numerous other loved ones.
Agatha will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
