CATHRYN DAVIDSON
1921 - 2006


Cathryn Ravia Davidson, 84, of Cushing, died Sunday, June 4, 2006, in the Cushing Regional Hospital.
She was born September 7, 1921, in Cushing, one of 13 children of William Riley and Mary Frances Tullos Ravia.
She grew up and attended school in Cushing.
On June 14, 1938, she married Jess Davidson in Drumright.
She worked as a waitress for a number of years at many of the local restaurants and later worked for Escott's Supermarket as a cashier. She was a lifelong member of the Church of the Firstborn in Cushing. She loved taking care of her yard, especially mowing. She enjoyed taking her great-grandchildren for ice cream outings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Bobby Leon Davidson; twelve siblings and two grandchildren, Bob and Melissa Davidson.
Survivors include her sons, Cecil Davidson and his wife, Betty, of Cushing and Billy Davidson and wife, Leatha, of Stillwater; grandchildren, Donna Orcutt, Billy Davidson, Gary Davidson and Mike Davidson; fourteen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of the Firstborn in Cushing. Brother Wayne Tibbett will officiate.
Interment will follow in Parkland Cemetery in Parkland. Services are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, in Cushing.
