MARTHA ILENE CURTIS
1942 - 2016


Martha Ilene Moreland Curtis was born September 3, 1942 in Stroud, Oklahoma and passed away May 3, 2016 in Wellston, Oklahoma at the age of 73.
Ilene grew up in Wellston and graduated from Wellston High School in 1960.
She was a long time member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston.
She was known for her rock collection and mowing lawns and loved to go on trips.
Ilene was preceded in death by her parents, George “Smokey” Moreland and Margaret Williams, brother, Jerry Moreland and sister, Cara Jean Evans.
Survivors include her sister, Norma Calhoun of Sioux City, Iowa, brothers, Woodrow Curtis of Perry and Ron Curtis of Glencoe; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Wellston with interment following at the Wellston Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
