MILDRED CROWNOVER
1905 - 1998


Lifelong Meeker resident Mildred O'Neal Crownover died Thursday in Meeker. She was 92.
Mrs. Crownover was born December 5, 1905, in Lincoln County to Henry Benton and Lillie May Fowler O'Neal.
She married James Leon Crownover on February 14, 1923, in Chandler.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church in Meeker.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Dean Harper, Meeker; son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Rita Crownover, Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter-in-law, Arlene Crownover, Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leon Crownover on May 31, 1986; one son, Glendon Crownover; and two grandsons.
Visitation will be at the Parks Funeral Chapel, Meeker, until 9:00 a.m. Monday.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday in New Hope Cemetery, Meeker, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Prague, with the Rev. Sam Matthews officiating.
