DONALD LEWIS CRIDER
1944 - 2016


Donald “Don” Lewis Crider was born on January 1, 1944, in Cleveland, Oklahoma and departed this life on Monday, September 12, 2016, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 72.
Don, the son of William and Eva Hopkins Crider, was a resident of Prague.
He married Debbie Carpenter on July 29, 1983 in Prague.
Don faithfully attended Prague First Baptist Church.
He truly loved horses and was well known for his tack shop where he was always available for good humor and conversation. Don also appreciated music and had, for a time, played guitar in a band. He enjoyed the outdoors, particularly 4 wheeling. Most of all, Don enjoyed his family and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
His parents, four sisters, Ortha Taylor, Betty Crosson, Dorothy Gilley and Erma Harvey and two brothers, David Crider and Lloyd Crider preceded him in death.
Don is survived by: his wife of 33 years, Debbie Crider of Prague, daughters and son-in-law, Dawn Crenshaw of Yukon and Tru and Trevor Cole of Chandler, sons and daughters-in-law, Randall and Donna Morris of Texarkana and David and Cheryl Morris of Texarkana, five grandchildren, Darra and Matt, Daysha, Tanner, Mikenzie and Paisley, five great grandchildren, sisters and brother-in-law, Lucille Henson of Tillamook, Oregon, Donna and Harold McAlester of Pawnee and Christine Giles of Shattuck, brothers and sister-in-law, James and Goldie Crider of Cleveland and Robert Crider of Farmersville, Texas and many other family and friends.
The Crider family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
Interment will follow at Prague Cemetery.
