JOHN WAYNE CRARY SR.
1941 - 2010


John Wayne Crary, Sr., 68, passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 in Chandler, Oklahoma.
He was born in Great Bend, Kansas July 21, 1941 to Kelly and Velma Crary.
John served his country proudly in the Army National Guard.
He was a member of the Church of Christ in Davenport.
For many years John worked in the oil field as a roughneck.
John was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, infant Joann Marie, infant Edna Joyce and Sandra Patterson; one brother, Gerald Crary and two children, Lee Anna Gayle and Kevin Arthur.
He is survived by his two sons, John, Jr. and wife Angie of Davenport, David and wife Carol of Kendrick; their mother, Cletus Simpson of Davenport; one sister, Barbara Dingman of Davenport; one aunt, Maxine Burt of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, two great-grand children and one more on the way; nieces and nephews Betty Mauch, Billy Patterson, Kelly Crary, Danny Crary, Krystal Tipton, Tammy Skaggs, and Terry Dingman; a host of cousins and a world of friends who will miss him dearly.
The Crary family would like to thank Mary Ann and the other home health nurses of Oklahoma Health Care Solutions.
A graveside service was held Tuesday at 2:00 in the White Dove Cemetery of Sparks, Oklahoma with John's nephew, Michael Ward officiating.
Services were under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home, Wellston.
