NORMA ELIZABETH COMBS
1926 - 2012


Norma "Granny Great" left us for the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday morning June 10, 2012 while in the home of her son in-law and daughter in Grove, Oklahoma.
She was born November 7, 1926 at home to Jesse Dennis and Alma Reed Dennis.
She attended Ripley School and graduated in 1944.
Norma married Roe C. Combs, Sr. on the 31 day of December, 1945. Of this marriage four children were born: Karen Sue Combs, Roe Combs Jr., Ray E. Combs and Kathie Ann Combs.
She was a member of Mountain Moverz Church, Grove, Oklahoma. She had accepted Jesus as her Savior early in life at Agra, Oklahoma.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years and her daughter, Karen Sue; as well as beloved parents Jesse and Alma; two sisters Myrtle Camren and Bula Funk; and two brothers Jesse Jr. and Jimmie Keith.
She is survived by her children; son, Roe Combs Jr. and wife Bonnie Combs; son, Ray Combs; and daughter, Kathie Hanna and husband Steve Hanna. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Leanna and husband Eric Tisdale; Kimberly and husband Scott Peters; Stephanie and husband Eric Howard; Bobbie and husband Troy Scott; Geri Rae Ann Rice; Anihtra and husband Brandon Watkins; Jameson and wife Natasha Poteet; Chris Hanna; and Nicki and husband Kevin Tatti; twenty two great-grandchildren and numerous special nieces and nephews.
Services have been entrusted to Palmer-Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma and will be held at the Agra Baptist Church on the 14 day of June, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
The graveside burial will be held immediately following the services at the Oakdale Cemetery.
