DURANDA M. COLLIER
1922 - 2010


Duranda M. Collier passed away Tuesday June 1, 2010 in Chandler, Oklahoma at the age of 87.
She was born south of Wellston to Rachel Stepp and September 20, 1922.
Duranda was a Wellston High School graduate in the Class of 1939. She lived her entire life in the Wellston area and was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.
She married Delmo Collier October 12, 1939 in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Duranda was preceded in death by her husband, Delmo; two brothers, Oman and Ucal Ford; two sisters, Edna Collier and Velma Robinett; nephew, J. L. Ford; and niece, Gaynell {Ford} Preston.
She is survived by two nephews, Cecil Ford and wife Bonnie of Wellston; Harlin Collier and wife Benita of Skiatook; two nieces, Carol {Ford} Thomas and husband Terry of Wellston; and Norma Armitage and husband Bob of Meeker; many other relatives and friends who will miss her.
Funeral for Duranda is 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 in the Lehman Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in the Rossville Cemetery under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
