IVAN EARL COLCLASURE
1916 - 2003


Ivan Earl "Bud" Colclasure, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on May 20, 1916, in Powell, Missouri, and departed this life on November 22, 2003, at his residence, in Chandler, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years.
Bud, the son of James O. and Ona Magee Colclasure, moved to Keifer, Oklahoma, at the age of four. He attended elementary school in Keifer and graduated from high school at Glenpool, Oklahoma, in 1935.
He married Helen Crow on January 14, 1939, in Pryor, Oklahoma.
In 1939, Bud began his 40-year career with the Texaco Corporation. He lived in Salem, Illinois; Mcleansboro, Illinois and Perryton, Texas. He held several positions, including gasoline operator, mechanic, head roustabout, assistant foreman and plant superintendent.
Bud was saved at a revival service in Keifer at the age of 17. He served 22 years on the Southern Baptist Missionary Board.
He was baptized and united with the First Baptist Church in Mcleansboro in 1943, ordained a deacon at the Dale Baptist Church in 1946, and in recent years was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma.
Bud was a 32nd Degree Mason.
His parents, two sisters, and two brothers preceded Bud in death.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Helen Colclasure of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Denise Colclasure of Depew, Oklahoma; Michael and Kathy Colclasure of Lindale, Texas; one daughter, Sherrilyn Malaby of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two sisters, Betty Christian of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Osa Rogers of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma as well as other relatives and many friends.
