MARJORIE W. CODY
1954 - 2015


Marjorie W. McClendon Cody was born in Eunice, New Mexico on January 27, 1954 and departed this life at her home in Stroud on December 1, 2015 at the age of 61 years.
Marjorie was the daughter of Leroy and Patty Ann Goble McClendon.
She was a resident of Stroud most of her life.
Marjorie was a caregiver at heart, she loved to help people and do anything she could for anybody.
She married Gary Cody in Durant on September 25, 1972.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, William Dale and one brother.
Survivors include her husband, Gary of the home, one son, Shane Cochran of Stroud, one sister, Diana Sue McManus of Coweta, one grandson, Shi Dale Cochran of Broken Arrow and one granddaughter, Hunter Ann Cochran of Broken Arrow, special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Stroud on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor James Bond officiating.
Burial will follow at the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
