MARVIN EUGENE CLARKSON OBITUARY
Submitted by: Vernon Leake

MARVIN EUGENE CLARKSON
1935 - 1937

Little Marvin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clarkson, was born October 2, 1935, and passed away at the home of his parents, December 26, 1937 at the tender age of two years, two months and twenty four days.
All the efforts of a kind physician and the love of an anxious household to do for little Marvin could not save him, and after a struggle of nine days of pneumonia, his little spirit took its flight to its eternal home.
The flowers were many and beautiful but not more beautiful than the face that rested so peacefully among them.
Beautiful in life, beautiful in death, but far more beautiful in the glorious resurrection morn.
Funeral services were held from the home Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Siegel Gray of Davenport, interment in the New Zion Cemetery with O. R. Savage in charge.
He leaves to mourn his departure his parents and three sisters, Bernice, Letty Jo, and Charlotte, and one brother, Carroll Eddie; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Kalka and Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Clarkson, and a host of other relatives and his friends were all who came in contact with him.
Our loss is heaven's gain.
Published December 26, 1937.
