MARIE CLARK
1920 - 2012


Marie Garrett Clark, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 5, 2012 with her loving family by her side.
She was born in El Reno, Oklahoma June 27, 1920 to Clark Scott and Margaret Garrett.
She grew up in Porum, Oklahoma with her grandparents, Mamie and Mark Bartlett.
On August 29, 1938 she married John Clark, who was a farmer/rancher in Webber Falls, Oklahoma.
Marie Clark, to all those who knew her, was touched with a unique sense of humor who loved nothing more than doting on her grandkids. Her amazing gift was a heart that knew no bounds. She had a great love for family, friends, all people and animals. Through her generous spirit and unending kindness to others, she helped all whose burdens were too great to handle. She was a flower that bloomed wherever she was located.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, John Clark, son, Mark Clark and grandson, Bryon Johnson.
She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Culie of Guthrie, Oklahoma; daughter Dorothy Schmidt {Earl} of Santa Barbara, California; daughter-in-law Gloria Clark of Great Falls, Montana; daughter Trudy Johnson {Bill} of Bynum, Montana; son John L. Clark {Susan} of Livingston, Montana; son Joe Clark of Chandler, Oklahoma; son Michael Clark {Darla} of Chandler, Oklahoma; son Ronnie Clark {Susan} of Stroud, Oklahoma; daughter Pat Mullendore {Harvey} of Meeker, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at the Clark Cemetery at a later date under the direction of Franzen-Davis Crematory, Livingston, Montana.
