JIMMIE CECIL CLARK
1917 - 2008


Jimmie Cecil Clark, long-time Davenport, Oklahoma resident was born on April 14, 1917, in Stroud, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 2, 2008, at his home at the age of 91 years.
Jimmie was the son of William L. and Rosalie Blaylock Clark.
He served in the United States Army during World War II.
Jimmie worked as a cab driver in Chandler, for many years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Davenport, Oklahoma.
His parents, one brother and seven sisters preceded Jimmie in death.
Survivors include his nephews, Hugh Roberts of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; Billy Hicks of Stroud, Oklahoma; nieces, Priscilla Doughtery of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; Eloise Flanagan of Shawnee, Oklahoma; as well as other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2006, at Davenport Cemetery in Davenport with Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
Services are under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
