LETTIE MAE CHRISTY
1908 - 2005


Lettie Mae Virden Christy, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma was born in Brownwood, Texas on September 25, 1908 and departed this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Sunday, August 14, 2005 at the age of 96 years.
Lettie was the daughter of Julius Allen and Margaret Anna Hale Virden.
She was a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma since 1975 and worked as a nurses aide.
Lettie married Thomas H. Cox on July 1, 1933.
He preceded her in death.
She married Roy Christy.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, her husbands; four brothers; two sisters; and two grandsons.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mary Golden of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Betty Jo Shell of Glen's Ferry, Idaho; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.
Graveside service will be 4:00 p.m. today at Oak Grove Cemetery in Stroud with Randy Ethridge officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers in Stroud.
