BETTY MARIE CHIVERS
1927 - 2012


Betty Marie Flynn Chivers was born on March 31, 1927, in Lima, Ohio, and departed this life on Monday, May 28, 2012, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 85.
Betty, the daughter of William and Marie Meranda Flynn, was a resident of Prague.
She married Homer Lawrence Chivers on January 24, 1948 in Ohio.
He preceded her in death on February 14, 2007.
Betty was a homemaker.
Her parents; two daughters, Patti Jo and an infant daughter, one grandson, one sister and one brother also preceded Betty in death.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Marsha Chivers of Brighton, Colorado; Ted and Christy Chivers of Oklahoma City; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Steve Mosley of Silver City, New Mexico; Marge and Al Dandy of Newalla; Betty and Brad Walker of Lewiston, Mississippi; Anna and Bob Bennett of Bonney Lake, Washington; brother-in-law, Warren Chivers and his wife, Pat, of Edmond; sixteen grandchildren; thirty six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating.
