DENZIL RONALD CELESTINE
1957 - 2016


Denzil Ronald Celestine was born October 27, 1957 to Vernon and Mildred Celestine. He passed away August 18, 2016 at the age of 58 in Corinth, Texas.
He graduated from Wellston High School in 1975 where he enjoyed playing baseball.
Denzil served in the United States Army from 1976 to 1987 as a radio operator. He received a good conduct medal and an expert marksmanship badge.
He had been employed at Central Plastics, Farm Fresh Dairy and a farm had in the local area. He enjoyed watching football and old movies on television.
Denzil did not stand out in a crowd, but if you were fortunate enough to know him, you couldn't help but be impressed with his gentle spirit and witty humor. Our brother will be greatly missed by friends and family.
Denzil was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Mildred Celestine.
Survivors include his siblings, Clifford {Delora} Harris, Violet {J. C.} Johnson, Sherman {Linda} Harris, Maurice Harris and Eric Celestine; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday August 27, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Meeker with interment following in the Bethlehem Cemetery in Fallis, Oklahoma.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
