RAYMOND CAVNAR
1915 - 1994


Raymond Cavnar, 78, died Wednesday, February 16, at Shawnee.
He was born at Honey Grove, Texas on May 11, 1915, the son of Thomas A. and Maggie Porter Cavnar.
He married Iva Marie Green on January 28, 1940 at Chandler.
He was a retired elevator operator for the State of Oklahoma, working in the Jim Thorpe building.
He attended the Assembly of God Church of Meeker.
His wife died on February 10, 1992. His parents, one brother and two sisters also preceded him in death.
Surviving are his brother, Leemond Cavnar of Harrah; one sister, Barbara Ramsey of Redland, California; and other relatives and friends.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 18, with the Revs. Charles Pearcy and Kevin Martin officiating.
Burial was at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Prague.
