RALPH DEVON CARL SR.
1921 - 2007


Ralph DeVon Carl Sr. was born in Onaga, Kansas on June 25, 1921, and departed this life in Chandler, Oklahoma on Wednesday, December 19, 2007, at the age of 86 years.
Ralph was the son of Earnest and Bertha Day Carl. He was a resident of Stroud, Oklahoma.
He married Ethel Mae Cooper in Belton, Missouri on March 21, 1942, and was a member of the Stroud Christian Church in Stroud, Oklahoma.
He retired as Major from the United States Air Force where he served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include, his wife, Ethel Mae Carl of the home, two sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph De Von II and Ellen Louise Carl of Aroya Granda, California, Larry Kelly and Ann Wiley Carl of Chattanooga, Tennessee, one daughter and son-in-law, Eloyce Mae and Robert Dean Jensen of Stroud, Oklahoma, two sisters, Mary Rowles of Wichita, Kansas and Donn Lee Vaulberg and husband Lawrence of Onaga, Kansas, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held at the Stroud Christian Church in Stroud, Oklahoma on Monday, December 24, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dwayne Jackson officiating.
Interment will follow at the Stroud Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
