JAMES WESLEY CANSLER
1925 - 2000


James Wesley Cansler died Monday, April 24, in Oklahoma City. He was 74.
He was born November 26, 1925, in Chandler, the son of Charles J. and Lois Vincent Cansler.
He married Bernice Clarkson March 26, 1948, in Chandler.
Mr. Cansler lived in Oklahoma City for many years, working for Montgomery Ward.
He was a member of the Village Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.
He was past president of the Oklahoma Chrysanthemum Society and a member of the National Board of Chrysanthemum Society.
He was a 32-degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Cansler of the home; brother, Jean C. Cansler of Norfolk, Virginia; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler.
Burial will follow at New Zion Cemetery in Chandler.
