RAYMOND J. BUTLER
1996 - 2014


Raymond J. "Ray" Butler , long-time, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on May 30, 1934, in Chandler, and departed this life on May 4, 2014, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 79 years.
Ray was the son of Hamilton and Minnie Sherman Butler.
He married Martha Miller at Chandler in 1973.
Ray worked as a Truck Driver for many years.
His parents, wife Martha, two grandsons, one great-grandson, three brothers and three sisters preceded Ray in death.
Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Dennis Butler of Wellston, Oklahoma and Scott and Terry Butler of Wellston; three daughters and sons-in-law, Vickey Ballew of Wellston, Phyllis and Olan Miller of Wellston and Deanna and Dennis Coon of Edmond, Oklahoma; one sister, Edith Caldwell of Noble, Oklahoma, thirteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014, at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler, with Rev. Roy Hayes officiating.
Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
