MARY ATHALONE BUNYARD
1912 - 2010


Mary Athalone Swofford Bunyard was born on March 7, 1912, in Stroud, Oklahoma and departed this life on Saturday, February 6, 2010, in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 97.
Mary was the daughter of James and May Hiett Swofford.
She married Frank Bunyard on December 1, 1934 in Chandler.
She was a homemaker and member of the First Assembly of God Church in Stroud, Oklahoma.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include, three daughters and son-in-laws, Anna Lee and Ray Sexton of Stroud, Oklahoma, Donna Jean and Henry Poskey of Stroud and Carolyn Sue and Darrell Webb of Stroud, five grandchildren, Steven Sexton, Mark Poskey, David Webb, Brian Webb and Monda Wise of Stroud, three great grandchildren, Amber and Aaron Sexton and Austin Poskey and Kynslei Wise of Stroud as well as other relatives and numerous friends.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Stroud, Oklahoma with Rev. Jeromye Jackson and Rev. Don Wilburn officiating.
Interment followed at Stroud Cemetery.
Services under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
