ROSEMARY G. BUCKLES
1936 - 2009


Rosemary G. Buckles died July 18, 2009 in Ripley, at the age of 72.
The daughter of the late Henry Lee Brown and Ethel Lee Jackson Brown, Rosemary was born August 14, 1936 in Shamrock, Oklahoma, and was reared and educated in Cushing.
She graduated from Cushing High School in 1955.
She was united in marriage to Harry C. Buckles Jr. October 19, 1955 in Chandler, Oklahoma. To this union three daughters were born, Kathy, Debbie, and Kim.
She was baptized into the Church of the First Born in 1980 and has been a member since.
She enjoyed shopping, gardening and working in the yard. She cherished having family get-togethers. Rosemary kept a beautiful home. She enjoyed serving others to make them comfortable.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Helen Marie Brown and Hattie Myrle Hausner; and two brothers, Leon Brown and Charlie Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Buckles Jr. of 54 years of marriage; three daughters, Kathy Williams and her husband Earl of Owasso; Debbie Beck and her husband Jeff of Owasso; and Kimberley McDonald of Cushing; two sisters, Esther Collyar of Cushing; and Martha Penrod and her husband Earnie of Farmington, New Mexico; two sister-in-laws Marline Boyles of Ripley; and Virginia Austin and her husband Billy of California; and brother-in-law Vernon Buckles and his wife Evelyn of Ripley; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Williams, Adam Beck, Eric Beck, Tyler Beck, Megan McDonald, Bradley McDonald, Matthew McDonald, and Malaki Presuhn; and one great grandchild, Siarra Beck, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the Church of the Firstborn in Cushing, Oklahoma with Brother Wayne Tibbett and Brother Fred Britton presiding.
Burial will follow in the Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Oklahoma.
Services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
