GEORGE L. BUCK
1930 - 2010


George L. "Jack" Buck died at his home in Tryon on March 25, 2010.
He was born on January 31, 1930 to Leonard Buck and Gladys Anderson Buck in Carney, Oklahoma.
He attended Tryon High School where he received his diploma.
He later retired from the United States Air Force where he had received his bronze star and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was married to Jo Ann Hagar Buck in Tryon, Oklahoma on June 14, 1951.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Roy Buck; and sister's-in-law, Mary Lou Buck, Betty Buck and Lola Buck.
Jack is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Buck, of the home; three brothers, Ray Buck of Choctaw, Oklahoma; Bob Buck of Tryon, Oklahoma; Johnny Buck of Mannford, Oklahoma; one son, Kenny Buck of Tryon, Oklahoma; one daughter, Susie and husband John Bates of Wellston, Oklahoma; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday March 28, 2010 at Carney Cemetery with Brother Rudy Lacy officiating.
Memorial contributions can be made in Jack's honor to Judith Karmen Hospice at P.O. Box 818, Stillwater, Oklahoma 74076.
