PATSY L. BROWN
1928 - 2012


Patsy L. Wood Brown was born June 20, 1928 in McLoud, Oklahoma, the daughter of Ory and Clara Belle Place Wood, and passed from this life Sunday, May 13, 2012 in Midwest City, Oklahoma, after attaining the age of 83 years.
Patsy graduated from McLoud High School.
In June of 1950 she married Murriel W. Brown.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker, but also worked for the County Election Board.
Patsy was a member of First United Methodist Church in McLoud.
She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, needle work and tendng to her flower gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Rick and Annette Brown; and Mike and Cynthia Brown, all of McLoud; three grandchildren: Megan Ellis and her husband Barrett; Matthew Brown and Briana Brown - all of Oklahoma City; three sisters: Jeanne Thomas of Oklahoma City; Belle Oldham of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; and Margaret Hood and her husband Melvin of Poteau; as well as several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Jamison Cemetery.
