MARY CAROLYN BROWN
1936 - 1997


Mary Carolyn Hinkle Brown died in Chandler Friday at the age of 61.
She was born in Chandler on March 26, 1936, to Perry and Virgie Ethel Koonce Hinkle.
She married Joe Brown October 14, 1954, in Chandler.
She lived in Lincoln County all her life and was co-owner of Brown Furniture, Chandler, and a charter member of the Friends Church of Chandler.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; two sons, Tom Brown, Stillwater; and Todd Brown, Chandler; one brother, Bill Hinkle, Chandler; two sisters, Nora Lee Cash, Ripley; and Phyllis Brasel, Bethany; six grandchildren as well as other relatives and many friends.
Services will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Friends Church, Chandler, with the Rev. Bruce Newby officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Funeral Home, Chandler.
Memorials may be made to the Lincoln County Hospice.
